Bottle Openers - Set of 2

Story:

Somewhere in a drawer sits the free bottle opener nobody remembers choosing. These two retire it. Bent from heavy steel wire into the shape of small snowshoes and hammered by hand, one comes finished in warm brass, the other in soft pewter.

A round of beers at the grill, a cold soda handed over the counter, the bottle of something saved for a Friday. Each hooks the cap and lifts it clean in one motion, flat enough for a pocket and sure in the hand.

Afterward they hang from a hook by the bar or wait wherever the cold drinks live, easy to reach and a little handsome about it. Years of birthdays and backyard evenings from now they will still be opening the first round, kept the way good pieces are.
