Our Story

Your partner in intentional slow living. Supporting generations of global artisans and nurturing Mother Earth.

Meet Angela, the vision and passion behind Cove Home.

Angela’s lifelong love for creating soulful interiors and beautifying spaces revealed a deeper calling toward intentional interior design. She realized over the years that the constant quest for following trends and accumulating low-quality, mass-produced home goods failed to create the nurturing homes people longed for. Angela's vision evolved toward homes that narrate family stories and nurture timeless treasures.

This idea of a unique, enduring, and ethical home design came to life during Angela and her husband's numerous urban renovation projects. They discovered the joy of integrating collected heirlooms into their designs, each piece holding personal stories and exuding artistic character.

In pondering the legacy of antiques for future generations amidst the proliferation of throw-away decor, Angela found inspiration in her move to a coastal haven in New Zealand. The slower pace and connection to nature fueled her desire to create a sanctuary from the ceaseless craving for "stuff."

Angela's vision extended beyond her home, inspiring her to bring her passion for handcrafted global goods, slow living, and close-knit communities into homes worldwide. This journey includes a commitment to creating inspired personalized spaces that supported artists and their communities as well as reduced the carbon footprint of the home goods industry.

Travel and diverse cultures greatly inspire Angela, but the pandemic's limitations also highlighted the need to share the world's beauty and traditional artistry with those unable to explore it firsthand. This urge to help others develop spaces reflecting their personal style and values gave birth to Cove Home.

Cove Home is a testament to mindful design, personal connection, and the pursuit of beauty. It's a platform to bring global artistry into homes, inspiring homeowners to create spaces that tell their unique stories. As Angela, along with her family, builds this future, she hopes to spread the joy of slow living and the transformative power of meaningful design worldwide, nurturing a legacy for generations to come.
