Rustic Olive Wood Bread Bowl

Warm bread has a way of bringing everyone to the table at once. This long, low bowl was carved to hold that moment, shaped from a single piece of olive wood along the natural line of the tree, so its curve belongs to it alone.

A loaf torn straight at the table, a row of tomatoes and mozzarella for a caprese, fruit piled where everyone passes by. The length is what makes it work, food laid out along it looks generous rather than crowded.

Olive wood is dense, naturally antibacterial, and grows deeper in color the longer it serves. Between meals the bowl stays out, holding lemons or standing on its own, the shape alone worth the counter space. Carved to be used for decades and passed along still beautiful.
