Marble & Ceramic Counter Set

Story:

Beside the stove sits the small corner that runs the cooking. This set builds it, a handthrown ceramic oil cruet in soft grey-brown, two solid marble bowls in small and large, all gathered on a ten inch mango wood riser.

The cruet pours a fine thread of oil over a finished dish, and the marble bowls, cool and weighty in the hand, keep flaky salt and peppercorns an arm's reach from the pan. The riser holds all three on one raised circle, the corner that keeps itself neat.

Marble carries its veining like a signature, no two bowls matched, and the wood beneath deepens with the years. Out on the counter through every season of cooking, over to the table when people come, part of the home for good.

Cruet - 8 inches tall (10.5 inches with the spout) x 3 inches at the base x 3.25 inches wide. Holds ~22 ounces.
